In my feature story, I want to cover the importance of regular maintenance on cars. In this piece, I will be speaking with at least two auto technicians. The discussion with them will be about what can happen if a vehicle is not maintained on schedule. Also, how people can do the simplest upkeep on their cars on their own. I have one technician from Kurt’s Service Center in Rockford, and I have reached out to Manus Repair Center for a second opinion. #Featurestory #Maintenance #Kurt’sServiceCenter #ManusRepairCenter
I also want to speak with people who have been impacted by this very subject. The first is Stacy K., who did not maintain her vehicle. She stated that she was struggling financially, so she just didn’t do the basics. She just lived in denial, she said. Her car eventually ran out of oil completely, and her motor seized up. Next, I will talk to Joyce W., who has done regular upkeep, and how that has impacted their car and life. I want to wrap up the article with both technicians giving advice on how to keep costs down and what even a non-mechanical person can do on their own to maintain their cars. #Denial #Finances #Oilchange
