I graduated from Rock Valley College with a certificate in Media production in 2024. I hope to find my niche in the industry. I am creative and love to dive into any projects that can utilize my current skills while also learning new. I have a special interest in the news and film industries. I completed my internship at WIFR as a Technical Media Producer in the spring of 2023. This is a compilation of my work projects from school as well as independent projects made during my own time.

Cinematography

This was my final project for Cinematography. This was shot with a Canon C100. I wrote, directed and edited this project. A Sennheiser MK 416

was used during the outdoor audio portion of the film. The wind made catching good audio a bit challenging. However, I was able to capture great sound. It was a fun and exciting experience, and I am happy with the final product.

This is my first lighting and composition project. This assignment was designed to experiment with camera angles, movement and lighting. It was filmed with a Canon C200 camera.

This is a mise-en-scene project. The class was given a phone prompt to incorporate. It shows a man playing guitar and spending time within his thoughts. Perhaps, he is trying to escape from the fact that his dad is in prison. He is hesitant to answer a phone call until the very end. I was very specific in the lighting detail. There is a caged look aided with filters shown on the wall. The candles in the film were meant to help support the sorrowful. This was shot with a Canon C100 and, shotgun microphone.

This is a group short film that was scripted, shot, and edited in one week. It features a guy who makes plans with friends but then finds out he was at the wrong place at the wrong time. Some of the equipment that was used to make this project was a C200 camera, and a MK 416 shotgun microphone.

This video focuses on making two genres in the same location. The two themes were "horror" and "heroic". This was a fun project, mixing the two. It was shot in an upstairs loft studio in downtown Rockford. It was filmed with a Canon C200.
